APRA Disqualified Register
The Australian Prudential Authority (APRA) is the prudential regulator of the Australian financial services industry. APRA has the authority to disqualify an individual from holding prudentially significant roles within the Australian authorized deposit-taking, general insurance and superannuation industries. An individual can also automatically become a ‘disqualified person’, for example, if he or she is convicted of an offence involving dishonest conduct or becomes bankrupt. Please note that APRA’s disqualification register only records individuals disqualified by APRA and not those automatically disqualified.
